Birdwatching,Tours & Ecotourism Activities
Birdwatching in the Algarve (3h)
Join us on a birding tour in one of the best spots for birdwatching in the Algarve: Ludo & Quinta do Lago. In Ria Formosa you can improve your sightings list with the Kentish Plover, Little Tern, Caspian Tern or even the Audouin’s gull and Little Bittern. On the fresh water lagoons, the Purple Swamphen is the highlight of the day and the surrounding woodlands offer excellent views of the Azure-winged Magpie.

Boat Trip: Birdwatching in Ria Formosa (2,5h)
On this fantastic birdwatching boat trip, we offer you the opportunity to observe many bird species that inhabit in Ria Formosa. Considered the second most important wetland for aquatic birds in Portugal, it's one of the places to visit if you enjoy birdwatching. We sail on secondary and shallow channels, allowing excellent views of birds at short distances without disturbing them.
Canyoning

Canyoning is a progressive exploration of the river where the practitioner, with the aid of ropes and other safety equipment surpasses natural obstacles in the path.
The strengths of this modality points along the route go through pedestrian movement within the river, swimming and jumps in the pools, the glides in the most disturbed waters and abseiling in waterfalls.
Contrary to what one might think, there is a vast amount of safety equipment associated with this modality to provide a complete smoothly.
Equipment:
- Thermal Boots, flotation vest, helmet, neoprene suit isothermal, Strings, High Chair (holds the practitioner to the rope), karabiner, gloves
KAYAKING

Kayaking is a water sport that consists of navigating the sea, lakes or rivers using canoes or kayaks (kayaks).
Canoes and kayaks, despite their similar appearance have different characteristics. The canoe is a vessel of greater volume, takes more cargo and has a larger pit. The kayak is smaller, single or double and a closed pit. In the kayak the paddler sitting travels and uses a double paddle and can travel as much as sitting on his knees using a single oar (with only a shovel).
This modality can be practiced in the sea, rivers and lakes. The kayak adapts to calm or choppy waters, the canoe is to calm waters.

High Ropes
This activity consists of moving from trees to trees through a series of challenging physical games and trails at varied heights, as a type of tree top assault course is for the educational, playful and for those seeking an exciting physical challenge.
Participants feel a sense of achievement having successfully completed the challenges adapted to their own level of capability. Routes differ in height according to the level of difficulty (vertical nets; cobweb; monkey’s bridge; Tyrolean of 90m ;...) thus encouraging the participants to push themselves both physically and mentally.
A positive mental atitude is encouraged and a positive experience is guaranteed!
